Swim Across America Fairfield County is June 24

The 17th annual Swim Across America Fairfield County open water swim is Saturday, June 24, in the water of Long Island Sound – just off the shoreline of Stamford and Old Greenwich, Connecticut. The news release BELOW details the event — and the need for volunteers — especially boaters — to come and help keep the swimmers safe the morning of the swim.

We also have some great WHY I SWIM & WHY I VOLUNTEER stories (see links below) of some of the local participants. These stories are very compelling reasons why these swimmers & volunteers participate in the swim to #makewaves to #fightcancer. We hope you can use their stories too – if you would like to speak to any of our participants or event directors, please let me know and I’ll get you connected. Thanks so much.
