The 17th annual Swim Across America Fairfield County open water swim is Saturday, June 24, in the water of Long Island Sound – just off the shoreline of Stamford and Old Greenwich, Connecticut. The news release BELOW details the event — and the need for volunteers — especially boaters — to come and help keep the swimmers safe the morning of the swim.

These stories are very compelling reasons why these swimmers & volunteers participate in the swim to #makewaves to #fightcancer.
