Another Earth Day is upon us. And it is our duty to honor & celebrate Mother Earth as it is our duty to report “who is doing what” to restore our precious eco-system to harmonic balance, that balance we humans have so thrown off. And in that light, we have a stellar line-up to talk about Earth!
Opening with blessings by Chief Phil Lane who creates a sacred space, & who has been kind enough to be with us for years, followed by an array of dynamic speakers by whom we will be educated and inspired to action. In between some speakers is the music of two internationally-renowned musicians: the mellifluous voice & music of the beautiful Kristin Hoffman & serene and jazzy music of Premik Russell Tubbs.
Each speaker in his/her own right is outstanding. Among them, we are grateful to also have a translator/spokesperson of the Kogi Indian Tribe of Colombia, a searing voice calling their younger brother, us, to action to protect Pachamama. This year, we’re pleased to have:
Chief Phil Lane: an indigenous leader in human and community development and a member of Ihanktonwan Dakota and Chickasaw Nations. Founder and chairman of the Four World’s International Institute.
Charles Eisenstein: renowned speaker, writer, and author of several books including Climate: A New Story and The More Beautiful World our Hearts Know is Possible.
Colin Grant: environmentalist, eco-entrepreneur, holds a unique combination of knowledge and experience in ecosystem restoration, sustainability software, innovation and strategy.
Kristin Hoffmann: a Juilliard-trained singer, conscious musician and producer. She is the vocalist for the internationally acclaimed show, BELLA GAIA. A strong advocate for peace and Earth/Ocean conservation.
Bruce Lipton is a world-renowned biologist, author, teacher, speaker and should be nominated for the Nobel Prize in medicine for his breakthrough work in epigenetics and understanding the power of the mind on the body.
Bharat Mitra: is a visionary heart-centered entrepreneur, whose work manifests in many forms, including business, philanthropy, and community co-creation and loving Seva. He is the Founder of ORGANIC INDIA, Member of the Board of FabIndia.
Camara Cassin: is a multidisciplinary polymath educated in Environmental Science Technology, Permaculture and Psychospiritual Guidance. She is the founder of Visionary Fund, a crowdfunding platform for personal growth and visionary projects.
Lucas Dreier: anthropologist, has been working for over a decade with the Kogi people of Colombia, conducting anthropological research and collaborating on projects to protect their territory and share their message.
Premik Russell Tubbs: acclaimed musician, composer, producer and teacher, has a music career that spans decades & genres from Jazz to pop to spiritual, having played with Santana, Herbie Hancock, Sting, Ravi Shankar & on.
