Memorial Celebration for Al Attara December 14 3pm

Dear Friends,

It’s been a while, and I hope this email finds you all well.
I’m reaching out to share an invitation for those that might have missed the original email sent out recently…
After over 20+ wonderful years in the neighborhood, Earth Speaks will be closing its doors in the coming week, as Bi will be moving on to new creative ventures. Everything must go and is currently 50% off – please help support and spread the word 🙏♥️
As a special farewell, Bi will be hosting a special store closing event for friends tomorrow Saturday Dec 14th from 3pm-8pm (see flyer + details from Bi below).
I hope you can come by!
Sending love to everyone.
Jen
ps.
Here’s a little video I meant to share with everyone ages ago! One of the last times many of us gathered in celebration of Al at Earth Speaks back in 2023 🙂
From Bi:
Hi friends, family, and neighbors,

After 24 wonderful years, Earth Speaks is closing its doors, and I’d love for you to join me in celebrating the memories and moments we’ve shared.
On December 14th, 2024, I’ll be hosting a store closing event, and I invite you to come and choose items that hold special meaning for me.

In the spirit of continuance beyond this farewell, I’m offering a “pay what you wish” donation pledge, with all proceeds going to the store’s GoFundMe fund.
Each item carries its own unique significance, and it would mean the world to both me and Al if you took a piece of this journey with you.

Thank you for your support over the years. I hope to see you there.
Warmly,

Bi Li

Dear Friends,
It’s hard to believe it’s been three years since Al’s passing.
I began writing several versions for this email invite, struggling to find the right words to express how much he is dearly missed.. each and every day.
With a profound sense of gratitude for all of the memories and wonderful connections he made possible-
I found myself crying, as I deleted each one…
And at the end of everything, all I could hear was Al’s voice, saying:
“Jen, just send the damn invite.”
So here it is. 🙂
If you’re in town, please join us for a (better late than never!) memorial service to celebrate the life of our friend Al. ❤
Please RSVP so we can plan accordingly.
Hope to see you there.
