International Day of Peace & NYC Climate Week Kick-Off Concert Times Square, September 19-21, 2026 will create a Peace Party of Calmness/Celebration leading up to World Moment of Silence for Peace, Ringo Starr Requests & Woodstock Forever Movie & Global Peace Poles Placed Everywhere
The Sustainable Pause the World, LOVE YOUR MOTHER” for LIVE Peace Concert, Exhibition & Celebration continues for the 24th year. https://pausetheworldforpeace.org. The Peace Day Concert and exhibition will be held from 46th to 47th Street in Times Square on September 19th from 3 pm to 8 pm and rebroadcast on September 21 at noon. We will celebrate THE GOOD HAPPENING FOR PEACE there and in the world. McKinsey Co. states 1.6 billion people are aware of Peace Day, and our mission is to Pause the World for a Moment, Cease Fire, Hug for Peace…. at NOON on the UN-unanimously declared September 21.
The Live Broadcast will include UN Peace Messengers: Ringo Starr (will request a Moment of Silence virtually or in person TBD), Michael Douglas, Stevie Wonder, Dr. Jane Goodall (In Memory of), and Shakira performing for UNICEF and close with the performance of Tomorrow, from the show Annie, all virtually. We are creating a www.peacedayparty.org with millions….
Renowned talent will also join the broadcast: OMMM Presents the Concert and will be creating a 2 Hour Segment that will help calm and inspire the world; talent to be announced shortly. Good News Corporation, est. 2002, a nonprofit, has been the Executive Producer for 24 years. Good News Corporation works closely with NYC Parks, SAPO, and Times Square Alliance to create each year a FREE HISTORIC CONCERT. Soon the Run of Show will be announced, which will include many worldwide speakers, politicians, dignitaries, community leaders/teams, entertainers, and everyday loving people who care about living life in Peace and will share their actions.
On September 21, the International Day of Peace, Good News Corporation will also do a premiere broadcast of their movie: Woodstock Forever: Peace, Love and HOPE. The full-length documentary was created in 1989 to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Woodstock. Paul Sladkus, the Founder of Good News Corporation, along with Richie Havens and a Woodstock Generation Group, came down from Bethel, New York, where the original 1969 Woodstock occurred, and shared feelings for Peace and Love. Good News Corporation has been working on the movie since 1989, showed it at some Film Festivals to standing ovations, and will share it on September 21 after the Times Square Concert. NOTE: Our 1989 Celebration occurred in Times Square, Duffy Park, where we do the International Day of Peace Concert; See a major difference from then to today!
