Listen to “The Mars Ocean Analog team will depart NYC December 10 sailing the Schoonerstarship that completed The Guiness Book of world records…” on Spreaker.

On the Ultimate Mars Ocean Analog Winter to Summer Expedition direct to the Virgin Islands strength of mind and body will be built.

Why is it the ultimate Mars analog? Most all Mars analog astronaut training takes place in safe, controlled environments where courage is not needed. No  other astronaut training takes place on the dangerous, isolated environment of the high seas on a sailboat about the same size as the living quarters of a spaceship. The freezing condition on the ocean in December present a challenge few astronauts in training would take, but if astronauts are training for Mars they must overcome their fear and build special strength to face the even greater dangers of the unknown. And what agency will risk sending their trainees from NYC into the winter North Atlantic?

The Mars Ocean Analog team has already done this numerous times as well as sailing deep into the icebergs of Antarctica.

This experience trains the toughest most evolved analog Astronauts to be prepared for humanities greatest expedition.

This type of group training is a necessary part of preparing the best to lead the way to Mars.
