Tezikiah (“Tez”) Gabriel is a visionary leader, peacebuilder, organizational development
consultant, and advocate for positive social change. As Executive Director of Pathways
To Peace (PTP), a UN Peace Messenger Organization in consultation with ECOSOC
and the UN Department of Global Communications (DGC), Tez advances a global
Culture of Peace through collaboration, programs, education, and the shared
understanding that each of us is a pathway to peace. As Founder and Senior
Consultant of Gabriel Associates, Tez has spent more than three decades partnering
with mission-driven organizations and communities, providing consulting, training, and
strategic leadership to more than 1,000 organizations and initiatives. Tez’s expertise
spans organizational development, strategic planning, nonprofit governance, leadership,
collaboration, and organizational culture change, with a focus on building sustainable
environments where people and organizations can thrive and create meaningful, lasting
impact.
An ordained minister, Tez also conducts interfaith and intercultural ceremonies and
works with individuals and groups to “Empower the Divine Within Each of Us.”
Throughout a multifaceted career spanning peacebuilding, nonprofit leadership,
advocacy, and spiritual service, Tez has championed equity, challenged systemic
oppression, developed leaders, and brought diverse people together around shared
purpose. Whether working with organizations, communities, or individuals, Tez is guided
by a deep commitment to awakening human potential, strengthening our connections,
and creating a more peaceful, just, and compassionate world.
