New York, NY – Wonderama TV is set to host an unparalleled New Year’s Eve celebration, kicking off at 6 AM New York time with New Zealand’s festivities and continuing around the globe until the iconic ball drop from the top of One Times Square. This year’s marathon event promises to be a spectacular global party, featuring live music performances and international dignitaries.
The broadcast will be available on Twitch and the “VNYE 2022 Times Square Metaverse,” offering viewers a blend of real and virtual experiences. With the official live feed from Times Square and Earthcam locations in major cities worldwide, Wonderama provides a socially safe gateway to New Year’s Eve in New York—without leaving the comfort of your home.
The event will spotlight world-class performers and special VIP guests, and will feature new original works from rock violin sensation JLynn and the Violution, guitar virtuoso Steven Modica and will feature New York City Mayor’s Commissioner of International Affairs Edward Mermelstein will highlight the Junior Ambassador Diplomatic Program’s impact on thousands of students across the five boroughs. In addition, Consul Generals from Serbia, Mexico, Montenegro, and Jamaica will share their international perspectives and New Year’s greetings.
Hosted by Wonderama’s own Chuckie and Alisa, and featuring performances by host David Osmond, the program will culminate with a live feed from NYC’s stages and the best view of the NYE 2023 ball drop from atop One Times Square.
