The Sustainable “Pause the World, LOVE YOUR MOTHER” LIVE Peace Concert, presented by OMMM, Exhibition & Celebration continues for the 24th year (https://pausetheworldforpeace.org). The Peace Day Concert and exhibition will be held on September 19th from 46th to 47th Street in Times Square, from 2 pm to 8 pm, and will be rebroadcast on September 21 at noon. Broadcasts will be available on www.youtube.com/goodnewsbroadcast, www.wedonthavetime.org, and other platforms. We will celebrate THE GOOD HAPPENING FOR PEACE there and around the world. McKinsey & Co. states that 1.6 billion people are aware of Peace Day, and our mission is to Pause the World for a Moment, Cease Fire, and Hug for Peace at NOON on the UN-unanimously declared September 21.
The Live Broadcast will include UN Peace Messengers: Ringo Starr (who will request a Moment of Silence virtually or in person, TBD), Michael Douglas, Stevie Wonder, Dr. Jane Goodall (In Memory of), and Shakira performing for UNICEF, closing with a virtual performance of Tomorrow from the show Annie. Then a 25th Anniversary 9/11 Remembrance and Tribute to Dolly Parton, with a virtual performance of Dionne Warwick and Dolly singing Peace Like a River.

On September 21, the International Day of Peace, Good News Corporation will also premiere their movie, Woodstock, Forever: Peace, Love and HOPE. The full-length documentary was originally created in 1989 to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Woodstock. Paul Sladkus, Founder of Good News Corporation, along with Richie Havens and a Woodstock Generation Group, traveled from Bethel, New York—where the original 1969 Woodstock took place—to share feelings of Peace and Love in Times Square. Good News Corporation has worked on the movie since 1989, receiving standing ovations at select Film Festivals, and will share it globally on September 21 following the Times Square Concert (go to www.woodstockforever.org). NOTE: Our 1989 Celebration occurred in Times Square’s Father Duffy Square, where we hold our Concert today—a historic full circle! Plus, it starts with Richie Havens performing FREEDOM at the original concert, which ties into America’s 250th Anniversary, with our FREEDOM OF SPEECH.
