Human Rights Day is coming up on December 10 — a day to ignite a global movement for human rights! This year will mark the 78th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. It also serves as the celebration of our 25th Anniversary of Youth for Human Rights International!
We’re giving you a heads-up now because there will be an unprecedented number of events around the world to celebrate these milestones and to increase awareness of human rights.
We are calling on all human rights activists and team members around the world — including you — to make this the most memorable Human Rights Day ever. Hold lectures, parades, petition drives, concerts, seminars, art competitions, human rights booths, or Human Rights walks in your community. Together, we aim to collect 25,000 petition signatures internationally in support of human rights.
